Jurmana (1979) is a film that was released in 1979. Mukherjee’s entertainment is uplifting, and the tunes are wonderful. Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s excellent Hrishikesh Mukherjee has created yet another spectacular film. It isn’t one of his best, but it is intriguing.

Nonetheless, it’s moving. Raakhee plays a plain girl who gets Amitabh Bachchan’s eye. He has a little negative part in the film. A young Casanova who doesn’t take women seriously and sets out to seduce Rama Rama is once discovered by her at his house.

As a result, he is expelled from his household. She eventually seeks sanctuary in the home of Nandlal, a kindhearted young man. After she has already gotten off the train, an accident involving the train with which she left her home occurs, causing everyone to panic. She is no longer alive. In the meantime, she becomes a well-known singer, even though she continues to believe her father is unconcerned about her apparent loss. Jurmana is mostly enjoyable, however, at times the plot carried itself too seriously, given that there wasn’t much to it.

The narrative was enjoyable, but the writing had several flaws. There is confusion that why a parent would toss his daughter out just because she went to another man’s residence. Rama’s return home while her father is already blind, as well as all the melodrama that went along with it, seemed a little cliched.

It does, however, move you in the latter sections. After everything is said and done, Jurmana is as entertaining to watch as Mukherjee’s earlier films.

It’s well-paced, well-acted, and the soundtrack is stunning. RD Burman has done it again with stunning music.”Aye Sakhi Radhika,“”Chhoti Si Ek Kali,” and “Sawan Ke Jhoole” are all fantastic masterpieces sung by Lata Mangeshkar for Raakhee.

Jurmana is Raakhee’s film, and she performs an excellent job as Rama in carrying the picture. She expertly builds a film character of a dignified and simple woman, as she usually does. In my opinion, Amitabh Bachchan has a minor part in the film and does not get a lot of screen time. He succeeds well in any position he is given, but he isn’t given much more than the traditional character of a guy maturing as he falls in love. As Prakash, Vinod Mehra is brilliant, Farida Jalal is good as Laila, and Asrani surprises as Nandlal, despite being placed against type. Despite its problems, Jurmana remains a fun film to see. It is a lesser-known Mukherjee classic, but one that one should enjoy seeing with his family because of the primary actors and soundtrack.

In Hindi films, there have been some notable rain songs. Saawan Ke Jhoole Pade, Tum Chale Aao (the swings have been placed in the month of Saawan, please come) is one such song. In the Hindi film Jurmana, Lata Mangeshkar sings this lovely song in the traditional Raag Pahadi (1979).
