Mahesh Manna works as a moneylender. Ghanashyam is smitten by Kadam, a sweet rural girl. He wishes to amass more funds in order to marry her. However, his most valuable item – his yacht – is mortgaged to the moneylender, Mahesh Manna. Mahesh Manna bribes the obese thanedar babu to oppose Ghanashyam. A fight breaks out between Mahesh and Ghanashyam, and Rafik, an honest fish-wholesaler, pays Ghanashyam and his fellow fishermen a large sum. Rafik enters the fight after realising his own money is at risk.
