Plot
Kaali and his sister Seeta live in a shack. He aids Vinay, the Engineer. Mangla, Seeta’s buddy, falls in love with Kali and they marry, much to his sister’s happiness. Now Kali gets involved in an accident and loses his left hand. He blames Vinay for the mishap. Vinay is now in love with Kaali’s sister Seeta, but Kaali is opposed to their relationship.
Kaali lives in a shanty house with his sister Seeta, a middle-class and common-man. He works at a neighbouring tiny train station with an Engineer named Vinay. Kaali is the eldest member of his family, and he is harsh and class-conscious about his sister, whom he meets and does not meet. He happened to encounter Mangla, his sister’s friend and leading companion, one day. Mangla wanted to marry Kaali since she is in love with him, but he has no interest in her. When Kaali’s sister confronts him, he falls in love with Mangla and they marry. A few days later, Kaali is involved in an accident and loses his left arm; he blames Vinay the Engineer for the catastrophe. Vinay, on the other hand, falls head over heals in love with Kaali’s sister Seeta, but Kaali refuses to have any interaction with him because he is guilty for Kaali’s condition.
